We believe that it is important to show stories, not tell stories. There are a range of dynamic relationships in play wherever environmental changes are occurring and development projects are carried out. We seek to enable stakeholders to represent and comment on these critical interactions in new ways, using their own voices. We aim to complement the monitoring and evaluation of projects through the use of film and new media by: - providing an independent, constructively critical, set of eyes and ears;
- undertaking longitudinal studies, showing change over time;
- working with project staff and communities to represent their stories;
- seeking to establish long-term working relationships with clients, partners and communities;
- using a cross-sectoral approach focusing on livelihood issues and social gains;
- providing innovative ways of linking film and new media to written reporting.
